Our Favorite BBQ Recipes

The start of Summer is coming up and with holidays like Memorial Day and July 4th just around the corner, it’s time to barbecue. While you may have some tried and true recipes, here are some of our favorite barbecue recipes.

Grilled shrimp a tasty and easy option for the grill due to its quick cooking time. For our grilled shrimp dish, first, have clean and peeled shrimp. For this recipe, we are using 18 to 24 shrimp. Combine our Ginger Lemon Sriracha Blend with 4 tablespoons vegetable oil(or a stick of melted butter), a tablespoon of lemon juice, and if you would like, a tablespoon of honey. You can adjust to your suiting. Make enough to cover the shrimp and let it marinate in the fridge for at least one hour. Grill the shrimp for 2 minutes on each side.

Grilling steaks is always a fan favorite. Choose the cut you would like, for this recipe ribeyes are chosen. About 20 minutes before grilling, remove the steaks from the refrigerator and let sit, covered, at room temperature. Brush the steaks on both sides with oil and seasoning. Place the steaks on the grill and cook until golden brown and slightly charred, 4 to 5 minutes. Turn the steaks over and continue to grill 3 to 5 minutes for medium-rare or 8 to 10 minutes for medium-well.

For honey barbecue wings, start off with 30 cleaned wings. Mix ⅓ cup of our Kickin Chicken Finger Lickin Blend with ¼ cup honey and 2 tablespoons of oil. Marinate for at least an hour. When ready, put them on the grill for 20 to 25 minutes or until fully cooked.  Remove from heat and toss in about 1 cup of barbecue sauce if you wish.

While meat is usually the focus, you can’t forget about the sides. Who can resist a smoky and charred veggie dish straight from the grill? Grilled Onion Blossoms are an easy and tasty choice. First, combine parmesan cheese and seasoning in a small bowl. Cut the stem off the onion and place flat side down. Cut 1/2″ from the root down, into 12 to 16 sections, making sure not to cut through root. Flip over and pull sections of onion out gently to separate petals. Sprinkled all over with the cheese-spice mixture. Drizzle with oil and put it on the grill until charred, around 15 minutes.

Have other meats or veggies that you love? Our BBQ Bonanza Blend goes great with almost anything that you want to grill. So get your tongs ready because grilling season is here!
