INGREDIENTS

3 cups mixed nuts such as almonds, cashews, pecans, or walnuts
2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
1 ½ tablespoons Paprika Lemon & Lime seasoning
1 tablespoon brown sugar optional, for a sweet-spiced balance
½ teaspoon sea salt adjust to taste
Zest of 1 lemon optional
Zest of 1 lime optional

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F or 160°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the mixed nuts in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil or melted butter. Toss to coat evenly.
  3. Sprinkle the Paprika Lemon & Lime seasoning over the nuts. Add brown sugar and sea salt. Toss until fully coated.
  4. Spread the nuts in an even layer on the baking sheet and roast for 18 to 20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until lightly golden and fragrant.
  5. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with lemon and lime zest if using. Stir to distribute the bright citrus aroma.
  6. Allow the nuts to cool completely. They will become crisp as they cool.
  7. Serve in a bowl or transfer to jars or bags for gifting.
