Festive Roasted Nuts with Paprika, Lemon & Lime

3 cups mixed nuts such as almonds, cashews, pecans, or walnuts
2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
1 ½ tablespoons Paprika Lemon & Lime seasoning
1 tablespoon brown sugar optional, for a sweet-spiced balance
½ teaspoon sea salt adjust to taste
Zest of 1 lemon optional
Zest of 1 lime optional
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 325°F or 160°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the mixed nuts in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil or melted butter. Toss to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle the Paprika Lemon & Lime seasoning over the nuts. Add brown sugar and sea salt. Toss until fully coated.
- Spread the nuts in an even layer on the baking sheet and roast for 18 to 20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until lightly golden and fragrant.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with lemon and lime zest if using. Stir to distribute the bright citrus aroma.
- Allow the nuts to cool completely. They will become crisp as they cool.
- Serve in a bowl or transfer to jars or bags for gifting.
